En mayo YouTube empezó las pruebas para compartir los ingresos de publicidad con los usuarios que hubieran subido los vÃdeos. Esas pruebas fueron muy limitadas, sin forma de apuntarse para participar, sino que seleccionaron a algunos usuarios que habÃan destacado por la calidad y cantidad de vÃdeos subidos.
Ahora lanzan de forma oficial su programa de YouTube Partner, en el que cualquiera puede apuntarse. ¿Cualquiera? Bueno, no. De hecha las limitaciones son importantes. Aparte de las lógica de que se suban vÃdeos originales de los cuales se tenga el copyright y derechos de distribución tanto de vÃdeo como de audio hay un par de puntos más que lo limitan bastante.
Uno es que debemos subir regularmente vÃdeos que tengan muchas visualizaciones, es decir, nada de subir un vÃdeo y empezar a embolsarnos dinero. El otro es que solo sirve para usuarios de Estados Unidos y Canada, asà que de momento, por aquÃ, a aguantarse.
Lo que no queda muy claro es la parte del copyright. No solo exigen que tengamos derecho de redistribución, sino que seamos el propietario del copyright. ¿Qué pasa si ponemos música con licencia Creative Commons en nuestro vÃdeo? Tenemos derecho de distribución pero no el copyright. ¿No nos sirve?
Vaya, un movimiento bastante limitado por parte de Google, mientras que otros competidores como Revver o Metacafe ponen muchas más facilidades a la hora de compartir esos ingresos por publicidad.

Now that is just a merchant account. I use godaddy.com to set up my shopping cart feature and it is compatible with the Quikbooks merchant account. The monthly fees are low and the percentage for each transaction that Quikbooks takes is small…well worth it.
